What is ingrown hair?
Ingrown hair is a condition where hairs curls back and grows into the skin.We would like to inform you on how to prevent the ingrown hair caused by shaving, waxing?The ingrown hair is usually seen in the people with curly hair. Ingrown hair is often caused by shaving or waxing. If the hair breaks off with sharp tips, ingrown hair problem can occur. In most cases, ingrown hair is caused by shaving. Actually any form of hair removal method can cause ingrown hair.
The hair would grow out of the skin and the hair curls below the skin surface. To prevent the ingrown hair problem, you must take proper action to prevent the ingrown hair.
Exfoliating
1. Before shaving or waxing, remove the dead cells of the skin surface. Dead cells would cause ingrown hair.
2. Three days after waxing, you can use the coarse dry body mitt on dry skin before showering. This procedure needs two or three times every week.
Moisturise
Moisturise should be done daily. You can use hand and body cream. Its purpose is to nourishes and protect the skin from excessive flaking or skin irritation. Skin nourishing can help the hair grow out of skin surface.
What you shouldn’t do?
1. Within two days after waxing, do not do sports or other activities which can make you sweating. Sweat would benefit the bacteria production.
2. Sunbath and tanning are not allowed after 48 hours of waxing treatment.
3. Finger should not touch the waxed area to reduce the skin infection chances.
4. No hot bath or shower is allowed within 48 hours after waxing treatment.
5. You should not go saunas and public swimming pool to avoid skin irritation.
